History Component

 1900’s to Modern Day
Modern mortars, because of their lighter weight and simpler, more transportable design, are usually an important part of infantry and, in some armies, armor units. This means they don't have to concentrate their fire so their shorter range is not a disadvantage. A mortar specifically is a weapon that fires shells at low velocities, short ranges, and at high-arcing trajectories. It is usually loaded from the muzzle and has a barrel length less than 15 times its caliber.

The 1900’s cannon were typically mounted onto boats and were used to sink enemy ships. These cannons are most commonly portrayed on pirate ships.

1800’s to 1900’s Cannons
The cannons in this time period were able to shoot further because of the different designs. People had more experience on how the cannons will work so they were able to create better weapons.

Cannons in this time period were also used on ships against enemies. Cannons were used in tons of places including Germany. Cannons were used as artillery in some places and were used on the frontline in some places depending on the type of enemy that you were fighting.   This cannon was used to travel and fire long distances everywhere. This type of artillery is especially known for its destructive powers in the U.K.

1800’s Cannons
Cannons were big and heavy in the 1800's they were used for battle on both sides. the United States adopted them in 1809 while the French abandoned them in 1829. the cannons were used to destroy or tear down enemies and could be sneaked onto enemy territory. today there are over a hundred cannons at parks or historical sites. People used the cannons to attack because the guns had a limited range of fire.

  1. I find your paragraphs very 'to the point' and appropriatley formated. However I don't see a single citation on your blog... Also for the other posts I would reformat the text it's a 'wee' bit difficult to read.
